Terms and Conditions

1. Appointments & Booking

  • Appointments are required to guarantee service.

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure an appointment.

  • Walk-ins are accepted based on technician availability.

2. Deposit, Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless cancelled by the salon.

  • Client may reschedule up to (insert hours) hours before appointment without forfeiting deposit.

  • Cancellations within (insert hours) hours or no-shows result in forfeiture of deposit.

  • Excessive cancellations may require full pre-payment for future bookings.

3. Late Arrivals

  • A grace period of (insert minutes) minutes applies.

  • After grace period, service may be shortened or rescheduled.

  • Late arrivals may be subject to a late fee of (insert amount).

4. Limitations

Clients must:
✔ Arrive with clean hands/feet
✔ Disclose allergies or sensitivities prior to service
✔ Disclose existing nail trauma, fungus, infection, wounds, or medical conditions

Salon may refuse service for health or sanitation concerns.

5. Acrylic, Gel, Dip & Specialty Services

  • Application longevity depends on client lifestyle, aftercare, and nail health.

  • Lifting, breakage, peeling, or chip issues caused by impact, chemicals, water exposure, incorrect aftercare, or natural nail conditions are not subject to refunds.

6. Removal & Maintenance Fees

  • Removal of previous acrylic, dip, or gel products may incur an additional fee of (insert range).

  • Maintenance between appointments is the responsibility of the client.

7. Nail Breakage & Repair Policy

  • Repair pricing depends on timeframe and service type.

  • Fast lifting or breakage due to application error may be repaired at salon discretion within (insert days).

  • Impact-related damage is not considered service error.

8. Kids Nail Services

  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Salon reserves the right to refuse chemical services (e.g., acrylic, gel) for minors under a certain age unless approved by guardian.

9. Health & Safety — Maryland Compliance

  • Salon complies with Maryland Board of Cosmetologists regulations on sanitation, disinfection, and tool sterilization.

  • Tools, foot basins, and surfaces are disinfected according to state requirements between clients.

  • Salon may refuse service for:
    ✔ Nail fungus
    ✔ Warts
    ✔ Open wounds
    ✔ Skin infections
    ✔ Contagious conditions

10. COVID, Flu & Illness Policy

Client must cancel or reschedule if experiencing:
✔ Fever
✔ Flu/COVID-like symptoms
✔ Communicable illnesses

No refunds issued for illness-related cancellations; rescheduling permitted with proper notice.

11. Gel Mani/Pedi & Chemical Sensitivities

Client agrees to disclose:
✔ Gel allergies
✔ Acrylic sensitivities
✔ Latex sensitivities
✔ Pedicure product allergies

Salon not responsible for allergic reactions undisclosed at booking.

12. Foot Spa & Pedicure Sanitation

  • Pedicure bowls are cleaned and disinfected between clients per Maryland law.

  • Client acknowledges that pedicure services involve water, friction, and exfoliation that may cause temporary redness or sensitivity.

13. Personal Items

Salon not responsible for damage to clothing, jewelry, phones, or personal belongings during service.

14. Photography & Branding

Salon may request permission to photograph nails for portfolio or social media branding.
Client may decline without affecting service.

15. Refunds, Sales & Chargebacks

  • All sales are final.

  • No refunds on deposits, services, or products.

  • Chargebacks will be contested with service documentation, receipts, and proof of policy.

  • Client agrees to resolve disputes directly with salon before financial or legal actions.

16. Liability & Assumption of Risk

By booking, client acknowledges:
✔ Acrylic/gel application involves chemicals
✔ Nail extensions may cause temporary sensitivity
✔ Products may trigger rare allergic reactions
✔ Proper aftercare is essential to longevity

Client releases salon from liability for:

  • Breakage

  • Lift

  • Nail brittleness

  • Allergic reactions

  • Premature chipping due to lifestyle or neglect

17. Maryland Consumer Disputes & Small Claims Venue

In the event of a dispute:

  • Parties agree to attempt informal resolution first.

  • If unresolved, claims shall be handled exclusively through Maryland Small Claims Court in (Insert County).

  • Client waives class action, arbitration, or claims outside small claims unless required by law.

  • Client agrees to refrain from public defamation during dispute resolution.

Policies may change without notice.
